Austin, TX based outdoor retailer, Kammok, has instituted National Camp at Home Day to encourage enthusiasts to stay home and enjoy the outdoors.
According to the website, ” On March 27th, we’re declaring National Camp at Home Day. From living room pillow forts to backyard basecamps, we’re calling on the community to join us – together we camp at home. With some creative ingenuity, goodies for s’more, and a supportive community to share inspiration, we can bring the magic of camp to our homes”.
They list a few ways to join in:
- Sign up on Facebook that you’re joining the virtual gathering. They really intend this to be a community of people to share stories, tips/tricks, etc. Like sitting around the online campfire.
- Use #nationalcampathome day on your social media channels to share your at-home campsites. They mention picking some of their favorites to share online as well!
- TAKE THE LEAD- Kammok encourages fans to lead the charge with their community and get others involved as well.
