The Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation is the conservation wing of the Texas Parks & Wildlife, and they have been committed to finding funds and resources to conserve Texas lands for over 30 years, and full disclosure, purchases made from the TXTH gift shop contribute to this cause. They announced an amazing partnership with HEB and its Field & Future lineup of goods.
Texas grocery store, H-E-B, has always been at the forefront of giving back to the Lone Star state, so it makes sense that the two initiatives would come together to bring more awareness to protecting the resources and vast lands.
Field & Future from H-E-B is a selection of products that are set on being more environmentally conscious. It includes a variety of products from baby products, household items, and personal care goods. All of the items are made with recycled, or recyclable content, and feature ingredients that are biodegradable and plant-based. You can read the full lineup of items here.
There are currently around 100 products available, and now by purchasing any of these items you’ll be contributing to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation to support conservation efforts like, “coastal conservation along the Texas Gulf Coast, black bear restoration in West Texas, and the establishment of Palo Pinto Mountains State Park in North Texas, the state’s newest state park”. There isn’t an exact percentage donated found on the website, but it does count for all of the items available in the lineup.
